Guidelines

Before using the hotline, ensure you know its purpose. It’s intended for reporting serious issues, like fraud, corruption, harassment, or safety violations.

Gather as much information and documentation as possible. This may include dates, times, involved individuals, emails, and any relevant documentation. Having solid evidence strengthens your case.

When reporting, present your information clearly and concisely. Stick to facts and avoid emotional language or speculation.

If unethical behaviour, fraud, corruption, misconduct, or irregularities are ongoing, report it as soon as possible.

Maintain professionalism even if you are angry or upset. This increases the credibility of your report.

Whistleblowing can be stressful. Ensure you have a support system, whether friends, family, or a counsellor.
