Who we are

The University of Fort Hare (UFH) is a juristic person and is deemed a university by, and operates in terms of, the Higher Education Act 101 of 1997, as amended. The University is also governed by its Institutional Statute and Institutional Rules. The primary functions of the University are teaching, learning, and research.
