The University of Fort Hare (UFH) has officially opened its 2026 academic year registration cycle, with all registrations conducted online and on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to space availability.

📌 Admission Status Confirmation
- Undergraduate, Honours, Postgraduate Certificates, Diplomas & Master’s by Coursework: 06 – 30 January 2026
- Late Registration (selected programmes): 02 – 20 February 2026
- Master’s by Research & PhD Students: Registration open from 06 January to 31 March 2026, noting that programmes may close earlier if enrolment capacity is reached.

All first-year and incoming students are encouraged to attend orientation, which introduces students to academic life, campus services, and student support structures:
- Alice Campus: 26 – 30 January 2026
- East London Campus: 26 – 30 January 2026
📚 Start of Lectures
The 2026 academic programme officially begins on: Monday, 02 February 2026
