MASTER OF AGRICULTURE IN AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION
About
programme
A Master of Agriculture in Agricultural Extension provides advanced knowledge and skills in communication, rural development, and the dissemination of agricultural innovations, preparing graduates to effectively bridge the gap between research and farming communities. This program equips students with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by farmers and rural populations, and the tools to design and implement extension programs that enhance agricultural productivity, sustainability, and resilience. By focusing on the social, economic, and cultural aspects of agricultural development, graduates are prepared to lead efforts in improving livelihoods, promoting sustainable farming practices, and fostering community engagement. A Master of Agriculture in Agricultural Extension opens doors to leadership roles in government, NGOs, research institutions, and international organizations, where graduates can shape policies, guide agricultural reforms, and facilitate the spread of crucial knowledge in rural areas.
