DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN HUMAN MOVEMENT SCIENCE
About
programme
A Doctor of Philosophy in Human Movement Science offers an in-depth, theoretical understanding of the complex biological, physiological, and psychological aspects of human movement. This degree provides scholars with the tools to explore the mechanics of physical activity, motor control, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and the impact of movement on overall health and well-being. A PhD in Human Movement Science fosters critical inquiry into areas such as performance optimization, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and the role of physical activity in chronic disease management. By advancing knowledge in these fields, it contributes to the broader academic discourse on how human movement impacts quality of life, aging, physical fitness, and public health, with the potential to inform future research and policy in health and wellness.
