Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education Training (PGDHET)

Registered at Level 7 on the National Qualifications Framework (to be Level 8 on the new Higher Education Qualifications Framework),  the Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education and Training (PGDHET) is offered through the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC).

The purpose of the Diploma is to facilitate the professional development of academic staff  in higher education by developing their knowledge of Higher Education (HE) as a field of study and assisting them to enhance their ability to facilitate, manage and assess students' learning.

Participants are required to fulfil the outcomes of four compulsory modules and  one elective module. All the modules are also offered as Continuing Education courses for those lecturers who wish to do them on a one by one basis.
