Nasholan Chetty holds the degrees of LLB (UFH), LLM (UCT), as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education and Training from UFH. He is currently enrolled for his PHD at the University of Fort Hare. He is an attorney of the High Court of South Africa and has been a lecturer at the University of Fort Hare from 2014. He is also currently the Director of the Law Clinic, assumed in 2015. Nasholan Chetty has extensive criminal law experience as well as in the areas of competition and investment banking law. In 2015 he received the Lecturer of the Year Award from the Law Student Council.  
Due to his Clinic responsibilities, Mr Chetty also focuses on the National Moot Court Competition as well as the High Schools Moot Competition. He sits on the Board of Trustees for SLSJ (Students for Law and Social Justice) and is the lecturer in charge of CLASI (Constitutional Literacy and Service Initiative) at UFH.
