Mr P Kwinana at the IAEA (international Atomic Energy Agency) hosted in Vienna,Austria .IAEA is also an affiliate of the United Nations .He is also a member of the IAEA and represented the University of Fort Hare  and South Africa at the congregation . 

This year, the University of Fort Hare celebrated in a special way. On 18 July 2017, it hosted the Honorable Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa Nqakula when she came to Officially Handover the four mobile labs sponsored by ARMSCOR (Armament Corporation), the Agency of the Department of Defence. These are again fundraising endeavours of the UFH FOSST Discovery Centre under the leadership of Mr Phumezo Kwinana. Armscor has, so far, contributed just over R7million to UFH as part of their three year collaboration with Fort Hare.
