3 APIES POSTGRAD STUDENTS WILL TAKE PART IN AN ERASMUS MUNDUS MOBILITY PROGRAMME

A.P.I.E.S. will be represented by 3 of its postgraduate students at the University Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France. Mr. Banele Dosi (MSc), Mr. Curswan Andrews (PhD) and Mr. Ntuthuzelo Makhasi (PhD) will be taking part in an Erasmus Mundus (AESOP Project) mobility programme that will allow the students to spend between 6 and 18 months, under the supervision of Prof.

XXVth congress of the International Primatological Society in Hanoi, Vietnam

APIES fielded a team of six, including the group’s four doctoral students (Curswan Andrews, Derick Forbanka, Ntuthu Makhasi and Haja Rambeloarivony), to attend the XXVth congress of the International Primatological Society in Hanoi, Vietnam, from 11 – 16 August 2014. Each APIES participant made at least one oral presentation. Judith Masters and French collaborator Sébastien Couette co-hosted a symposium on strepsirhine evolution and biogeography.
