"Virtually every society that survived did so by socializing its sons to be disposable. Disposable in war; disposable in work "– Warren Farell
We at REPS 2016 consider the above statement in highest regard, which is why we schedule two important and captivating social functions; one during opening and welcoming and the other as a reflecting platform at the end of the symposium in order to socialize our students (sons & daughters), the next generation, to be disposable in energy and environmental research. How else wold we have achieved such an often insurmountable objective without having to put together a line-up of the decision makers and gate keepers in Renewable Energy and Environmental matters to share words of wisdom with our students. On the impressive list of role players that will grace our two functions are the following:
Honourable Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, Kota-Freddericks
Honourable MEC Sakumzi Somyo
DG of Environmental Affairs: Ms Nosipho Ngcaba
DDG of DST: Mr. Mmboneni Moufhe
CEO of EWSETA: Mr Errol Gradwell
UFH VC: Dr. Mvuyo Tom
REPS 2016 organisers would like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank all delegates for gracing this historic event that also mark part of centenary celebrations of the University of Fort Hare. We hope that your experience here will be one of kind, one so addictive that you will find yourselves on the university premises gain in near future either as a studen, staff, colaborator, advisor, sponsor/funder or simply a visitor. Whatever your status, remember Fort Hare doors are always open.
