The Grounding Programme is presented as a special

gift from the University to Madiba for his contribution

to our collective future. It runs annually from his

birthday month (July) through to November.

the memory of Prof Andy Gilbert for his contribution

to the University of Fort Hare in general and to the

Grounding programme specifically.
