(Foundation, Intermediate or Senior Phase)

Purpose

               The ACE (FP/IP/SP)) aims to improve the theoretical understanding and professional practice of school educators in these phases. 

Curriculum

               All Advanced Certificate courses are 120-credit qualifications at Level 6 (Educators in Schooling).

               Curriculum for the Foundation and Intermediate Phases: In order for the qualification to be endorsed at the Foundation or Intermediate Phase, the candidate must obtain or be granted credit in:

•  Literacy and Numeracy

•  Professional Studies

•  Lifeskills

•  Education Studies

•  Educational Environment

               Curriculum for the Senior Phase: In order for the qualification to be endorsed at the Senior Phase, the candidate must obtain or be granted credit in:

•  Literacy and Numeracy

•  Professional Studies

•  Mathematics, Science, Technology or Arts and Culture

•  Education Studies

•  The Educational Environment
