Research Interests: 

Developing scientific and technological base for integrating GIS & Remote Sensing with problem solving and decision support systems. Encompassing modelling concepts intersecting GIS and its applications, GIS development concepts and practices, GIS databases, Remote Sensing algorithms, open source libraries, programming, and Web GIS.


Mr Chamunorwa is a geospatial applications expert. He is responsible for designing and facilitating Undergraduate practicals in the department, and lectures Undergraduate modules on elementary Remote Sensing, physical basis of remote sensing, data collection, GIS database design & implementation, and Web GIS.
