THE FIELD OF STUDY Development Studies is a multidisciplinary field of study that tackles the imperatives of transformation in South Africa, in SADC, in the African continent and internationally. It equips policy makers, managers, development practitioners and agents with requisite knowledge, skills and competencies needed in the public and private sectors, the development sector and communities to make a valuable contribution to the development of society.
