Protection of Personal Information Undertaking by the University of Fort Hare

The University of Fort Hare requires personal information of applicants to be captured on the University systems. Information is required to be able to assess and approve the applications. Only relevant staff will work with the information. The information will be used in all university processes and will not be sent to any unrelated third parties unless it has been expressly approved. All shared information will be kept secure. The personal information provided by applicants will be stored on the universities systems indefinitely as it will form part of the qualification data stored for verification.

Admission requirements for Bachelor’s degrees

Please check the admission requirements of the various qualifications offered at the University of Fort Hare

Admission requirements for Postgraduate degrees

Application Steps

  • Submit your application form and all the necessary documentation before 31 October 2016.
  • An SMS will be sent to you informing you of the status of your application thereafter a letter of confirmation.
  • Current matriculants who qualify based on their Grade 12 mid-term performance, are provisionally admitted pending the submission of their final matric results and subject to availability of space.
  • Successful applicants will receive sms and an admission letter, together with a registration guide, which reflects the registration dates and orientation programme.
