SENIOR LECTURER:  INDUSTRIAL PSYCHOLOGY (2 POSTS)

ALICE CAMPUS – REF NO: 7025 & 775

R 537 636 – R 668 851 p.a. (All-Inclusive package)


 

Applications are invited for two Senior Lecturer positions in the Department of Industrial Psychology at the University of Fort Hare, Alice Campus.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Offer lectures and assess students in relevant academic subjects in the field of Industrial Psychology and Human Resource Management qualifications. 
  • Participate in the supervision and evaluation of the research work of honours, master’s, and doctoral students.  
  • Contribute in the development of new curricula in line with new HEQF structures. 
  • Conduct research for publication. 
  • Conduct departmental and/or individual community engagement projects.
  • Present evening classes as required and as part of the normal work load.

 

Requirements: 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • A doctoral degree with specialization in Industrial Psychology/Human Resource Management.
  • Registration with the HPCSA as an Industrial Psychologist will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of three years lecturing experience at a Tertiary Educational Institution, Industry-related experience in the field of specialization would be an advantage. 
  • A proven track record of research output published in peer-reviewed journals, and supervisory experience at master’s and/or doctoral level will be an advantage.
